Chicken Tikka Masala (Murgh Tikka Masala)

Chicken tikka masala nicely cooked with Custom Culinary® Chef's Own™ Masala Flavor Spice Mix and Custom Culinary® Gold Label Chunky Tomato Sauce, served with basmatic rice.

45 g Cooking oil
25 g Garlic, chopped
25 g Ginger, chopped
150 g Red onion, chopped
100 g Custom Culinary® Chef's Own™ Masala Flavor Spice Mix
350 g Custom Culinary® Gold Label Chunky Tomato Sauce
1.5 kg Chicken Tikka 
250 g Cooking cream
30 g Chopped coriander

Preparation

  1. Heat up oil and stir in chopped garlic, ginger and onion until browned
  2. Stir in Custom Culinary® Chef's Own™ Masala Flavor Spice Mix until well mixed
  3. Add Custom Culinary® Gold Label Chunky Tomato Sauce, mix well and simmer 10 minutes
  4. Turn off heat, use a hand blender to make a puree of the mix.
  5. Add the prepared chicken tikka to the ground puree and being back to boil and simmer for 5 minutes.
  6. Add cooking cream, mix well and continue simmering for 5 minutes.
  7. Adjust seasoning as needed and serve Chicken Tikka Masala with cooked basmati rice and garnished with chopped coriander
