Awadhi Lamb Korma

A flavourful slow cooked mutton curry with yoghurt, brown onions and spices with the aroma of Custom Culinary® Lucknowi Biryani Seasoning.

200 gm Lamb curry cut
30 gm Fried Onions(crushed)  
50 gm Yoghurt
10 gm Ginger Garlic Paste
15 gm Custom Culinary® Lucknowi Biryani Seasoning
20 gm Ghee
02 no Bayleaf
03 no Green Cardamom
04 no Black Pepper


  1. In a mixing bowl, combine together Lamb, Yoghurt, Ginger Garlic Paste, Ghee, Bayleaf, Green Cardamom, Black Pepper and Custom Culinary® Lucknowi Biryani Seasoning. Rest for 2-3 Hours.
  2. Heat oil in a thick bottomed pan and transfer the marinated lamb .
  3. Cook on a low flame till the mutton becomes tender.  Add water to adjust consistency.
  4. Add crushed Fried Onions and cook for 10 minutes .
  5. Serve Hot.

Chef Tips

To reduce the cooking time, use a pressure cooker.
