Five Chili Chocolate Brownie

Chocolate brownie with a subtle hint of chili heat from Custom Culinary Alfa® Chef’s Own Five Chili Seasoning. These Chili Chocolate Brownies bring both chili heat and silky chocolate together in the most delicious and beautiful way.

Quantity Ingredients
180 gms Unsweetened dark chocolate  
125 gms Unsalted butter
375 gms Sugar
4 nos Large Eggs
5 gms Vanilla Essence
30 gms Cocoa Powder
15 gms Chef's Own™ Five Chili Seasoning


  1. Preheat oven to 180 C.
  2. Line an 8-inch square baking pan with parchment.
  3. Melt chocolate and butter, in a double boiler over simmering water, whisking until smooth.
  4. Set the chocolate aside to cool to room temperature.
  5. Combine flour and Chef's Own™ Five Chili Seasoning in a small bowl
  6. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs and sugar.
  7. Add cocoa powder to the egg/sugar mixture, whisking until smooth. Whisk in the cooled chocolate/butter mixture until smooth.
  8. Fold in flour and stir vigorously until batter is thick and smooth.
  9. Spread batter into prepared baking pan.
  10. Bake approximately 35 minutes.
  11. Transfer to a rack to cool completely.
  12. When cool, use the parchment to remove from pan. Cut into 2 inch squares.
  13. Serve with chocolate sauce and garnish with strawberry.
