Calamari rings dipped in a crispy tempura batter with a nice kick of Custom Culinary® Alfa Chef's Own Peri-Peri Seasoning. Featuring Custom Culinary® Alfa Chef's Own Pre-Dust and Custom Culinary Alfa Chef's Own Tempura Batter. Served with Custom Culinary® Alfa Master’s Touch® American Ranch Dressing spiced with Custom Culinary® Alfa Chef’s Own Dynamite Seasoning.

Quantity Ingredients  
1 kg Calamari Rings
5 gms Chef’s Own™ Peri Peri Seasoning
100 gms Chef's Own™ Pre-Dust 
400 gms Chef's Own™ Tempura Batter
1 Liter Cold Water
  HOT RANCH SAUCE:
100 gms Master’s Touch American Ranch Dressing
3 gms Chef’s Own™ Dynamite Seasoning

Preparation

  1. Wash and pat dry the calamari rings.
  2. Dust the calamari rings with Chef's Own™ Pre-Dust .
  3. Dissolve Chef's Own™ Tempura Batter in cold water and season with Chef’s own™ Peri Peri Seasoning.
  4. Allow batter to rest for 10 minutes, dip Calamari rings into the batter.
  5. Drop individual calamari into hot oil, so they don't stick. Fry for 3-4 minutes at 170°C.
  6. Drain off on paper towel.
  7. Serve with spicy ranch sauce.
