Spicy Crispy Korean Wings

Crispy Battered chicken wings made using Custom Culinary® Chef’s Own™ Batter mix glazed with Custom Culinary® Master’s touch® Korean-Style Spicy Sauce. Very convenient to pack in the takeaway boxes and the wings remains juicy and succulent with the glaze sauce on it.

What You'll Need

Amount Ingredients
20 pcs Chicken Wings  
350 g Custom Culinary® Chef’s Own Batter mix (For mixing with water)
560 g Cold water
50 g Custom Culinary® Chef’s Own Batter mix
  Oil for Deep frying  
250 g Custom Culinary® Master's Touch® Korean-Style Spicy Sauce
25 g Sesame seeds, toasted
20 g Spring onions greens, chopped 


For the Chicken

  1. 1. Wash and pat dry the chicken wings and keep aside.
  2. 2. Prepare a thick batter using 350 g of the Custom Culinary® Chef’s Own™ Batter mix and 560 g cold water.
  3. 3. Turn on the deep fryer, heat the oil till it reaches 175°C.
  4. 4. Dust the chicken wings with the Custom Culinary®  Master's Touch® Korean-Style Spicy Sauce, dip each wing individually into the batter and deep fry for 6-8 minutes or until the wings are crispy, golden brown and fully cooked.
  5. 5. Fry all the wings and keep aside.

For glazing

  1. 1. Heat a wok in medium heat.
  2. 2. Add the Custom Culinary® Master's Touch® Korean-Style Spicy Sauce, gently bring to boil.
  3. 3. Turn off heat, add the fried wings and toss well until the chicken is glazed well with the sauce.
  4. 4. Finish with toasted sesame seeds and chopped spring onions.
