Out of his passion for cooking, Bell received professional training and studied in culinary in his youth. Because of his excellent cooking skills, Chef Bell was hired by Shangri-La Hotel in Shanghai, where he finally realized his dream of becoming a Western food chef. During this period, Bell and his team served at APEC (2001) and Six-nation Summit (2001).
