Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl

Fresh ahi tuna marinated in tamari and a Japanese-inspired seasoning, served over a bed of sushi rice with cucumber, avocado, scallions and black sesame seeds.

What You'll Need

Amount Ingredients
1/2 cup Sushi-Grade Tuna, Diced 1/2"
1 tsp Custom Culinary® Togarashi Style Seasoning
1/2 tsp Sesame Oil
1/4 tsp White Sesame Seeds
1/4 cup Edamame Beans
1/4  Jalapeno, Sliced
1/2  Avocado, Sliced
1 cup Sushi or Glutinous Rice, Cooked and Seasoned with Mirin
Radish, Sliced Thin
1/4 cup Pea Shoots
1/4 cup Cucumber, Sliced
2 Tbsp Custom Culinary® Buttery Garlic Flavour Glaze​


  1. Add the room temperature, seasoned glutinous rice to the bottom of a bowl. 
  2. In a small mixing bowl, gently combine the diced tuna, sesame oil and Custom Culinary® Togarashi Style Seasoning together until well blended.  Add to the bottom left of the bowl over the rice.
  3. Add 1 tablespoon of the Custom Culinary® Buttery Garlic Flavour Glaze to the edamame beans and add to the right side of the bowl over the rice. 
  4. Shingle the sliced jalapeños between the tuna and edamame beans.
  5. Add the cucumber and radish to the top of the bowl over the rice. 
  6. Place the pea sprouts and sliced avocado over the rice on the left side of the bowl. 
  7. Drizzle the remaining Custom Culinary® Buttery Garlic Flavour Glaze over the vegetables.
