Chicken Parm Roll

Italian-style breaded chicken breast on a buttery, crunchy roll with rich marinara sauce, pizza mozzarella and a tomato-herb-infused aioli.

Amount Ingredients
1 Italian-Style Bun, Cut in Half
1 Tbsp Custom Culinary® Buttery Garlic Flavour Glaze​
1/2 cup Marinara Sauce
1x5 oz (142 g) Chicken Breast, Pounded to 1/2" Thick
1/2 cup Custom Culinary® Seasoned Flour
1 Egg, Beaten
1/2 cup Custom Culinary® Italian Style Breadcrumbs
  Frying Oil
2 oz Mozzarella Cheese, Sliced
1/4 cup Mayo
1 tsp Custom Culinary® Tuscan Herb Seasoning


  1. Preheat oven to 360°F (182°C).
  2. Preheat fryer to 360°F (182°C).
  3. Coat the cut sides of the bun with Custom Culinary® Buttery Garlic Flavour Glaze. Set aside. 
  4. Warm the marinara sauce in a pan until simmering. Set aside.
  5. In three separate bowls, place Custom Culinary® Seasoned Flour, beaten who egg and Custom Culinary® Italian Style Breadcrumbs.
  6. Place the pounded chicken breast into the seasoned flour, shake off excess flour, then dip and cover fully in egg and then dredge into the breadcrumbs until fully coated.
  7. Fry the chicken for about 5-6 minutes until golden brown or internal temperature is at least 165°F (74°C).
  8. Toss the cooked chicken into  ½ of the marinara sauce, place the mozzarella cheese on top of the chicken breast and place in the oven along with the bun in the oven until the mozzarella is melted and the bun is golden brown and crispy. 
  9. Whisk together mayo and Custom Culinary® Tuscan Herb Seasoning until well blended with no lumps.
  10. Assemble sandwich (from bottom to top) with bottom bun, tomato-herb-infused mayo, chicken with mozzarella, more marinara sauce and top bun.
